Physics 1 is an introductory physics course, investigating the basics of Newtonian mechanics, as well as electricity and magnetism. The course outline is as follows:

Semester 1:

• Projectiles
• Dynamics/Newton's laws
• Energy
• Momentum

• Special Topics*

 

* Special Topics will be decided after the last topic required by the state curriculum. With extra time, students will choose the next step in their Physics education. These topics are only limited by the prerequisite math and science education of the students.
